Abstract
This course is designed to provide students with an overview of communication, its scope and importance within organisations. The units provide a comprehensive approach to the study and application of written and oral business communication. Throughout the course, students will explore the foundations of effective business communication. The norms, behaviours and practices that are expected in the business world shall be analysed. Additionally, the course provides opportunities to emphasise on how communication takes place within globalised business landscapes where diverse cultures are working within the same environment. The various types of business communication challenges are covered.
